Hi all,

A quick sum up of the student weekend at Nerac.. as it was well over a month ago.. im sorry for my slack entry writing. i really am hopeless at this, bare with me.

the weekend at Nerac was my very last student weekend.. (it was the 16th october/ around then) we all met up the friday at around two thirty (megan, Andrea, Rodrigo and I) to go to Nerac with Patrick our counsellor. we arived around five o clock and everyone ate together once all the others had arrived. we were about 30 all together i think. i was in a room with a lot of english speaking girls and then spanish speaking girls were all put in the same room together too, but everyone mixed together. we stayed up until around 3am dancing to music in the cabin rooms and then had an early start.

the next morning we did Accrobronching which is a high ropes course in the trees. we did the 3 easy levels and then decided to try the SUPER BLACK level... it was hard..around 30 mtrs high and it took a decent half hour to complete... the hardest parts were a tarzan rope which i managed to burn my hands and fingers on :( i slipped down the rope and got rope burn until my fingers bled and had to continue. The end was mentally hard because you just had to jump off.. and it was about 25mtrs high... its instinct to not want to jump off even when you know your attached... i got renee to push me :) it was a good activity for team work! once we finished we ate a picnic there and then went back to the camp area for a meeting about the bus trip. once that was finished we went in groups to rotarians houses and everyone made a plate of dessert food from their country. with the Australian girls we made ANZAC biscuits because that was all we had time for and there is Australia and New Zealand in the title.

we had a performance that night and a dinner with the rotarians, we all sang our national anthems which i must say im getting better at doing! and then i danced to rolling in the deep by adele that megan sang. the performance went well considering we had only had a day to prepare...i made the dance up on the spot :P we all ate our desserts and shared then around and then had another late night where we danced again until around 4am. i danced with the brazilian girls almost the whole night! Brazil may just be the next country id like to visit :)

the next day was relaxed we ate a big lunch all together then took the train home in the afternoon.. the next student event is just one day! there are no more weekends...the year is coming to an end :(
